Prabhas Donates 4 Crore for Fight Corona

To fight against Novel Coronavirus the whole country has gone under lockdown. Most people are home-quarantined. Meanwhile, the number of COVID19 cases is increasing daily. The number of dead people is rising day by day. Experts say, besides lockdown, a huge investment in the health sector is needed to prevent corona.

In this situation, the superstars of both Bollywood and the South came forward with their openhand.

Prabhas

Prabhas, the ‘Bahubali’ actor, made a significant donation to the needy. As per a PTI report, he donated Rs 4 crore towards COVID-19 relief.

Out of the donation amount, the ‘Saaho’ star pledged Rs 3 crore to the Prime Minister’s relief fund and Rs 50 lakh each to Chief Minister’s relief fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Hrithik Roshan

Roshan sent out a tweet, announcing that he had taken the responsibility to produce N95 and FFP3 masks for the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) workers and other caretakers.

Rajinikanth

South megastar Rajinikanth donated Rs 50 lakh to the daily wage workers of the South film industry. He came to the rescue of those worst hit by the pandemic.

Akshay Kumar

Bollywood star, ‘the Khatron ka Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar donated Rs. 25 Crore to the Corona Relief fund. 

Pawan Kalyan

Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan announced a donation of Rs 1 crore to the PM relief fund. He is a member of the Jana Sena Party and is also popular for his roles in films like ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Gabbar Singh’.

Ram Charan

Indian film producer, entrepreneur and Telugu cinema star, Ram Charan, announced that he will be donating Rs 70 lakh to the PMO and state governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to help with the ongoing health crisis

Kapil Sharma

Comedian Kapil Sharma stood up for the nation and donated a sum of Rs 50 lakh to the Prime Minister Relief Fund.

Allu Arjun

Famous South Indian actor Allu Arjun donated Rs. 1.25 crore to help fight coronavirus in the country.
