Laal Kaptaan (transl. Red captain) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language cinema. It is an epic action drama film. The film is written and directed by Navdeep Singh. The release date is 18 October, 2019.
The film is produced by Eros International and Producer Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions. The dialogues are written by Sudip Sharma, starring Saif Ali Khan as Naga Sadhu/Gossain, Manav Vij as Rehmat Khan, Zoya Hussain as The Widow, Deepak Dobriyal as The Tracker, Simone Singh, Saurabh Sachdeva as a Royal army general and Sonakshi Sinha as Noor Bai. The soundtrack of the film is composed of Samira Koppikar with lyrics written by Saurabh Jain, Puneet Sharma, and Sahib.
The story of the film is about a ‘naga sadhu’ out on a journey ridden with drama, revenge, and deceit. Laal Kaptaan boasts of a larger-than-life landscape, dramatic characters and a gripping story that makes it a first of its kind. NH 10 Director Navdeep Singh has directed the movie.
